Brooke and Ronnie Halfpap

Wow! What else can I say about these two?! They are some of our best friends, and we had such a blast going back home to Minnesota to photograph their wedding. Brooke and Ronnie have been in many of my photographs for my own personal work, and it was an honor being able to photograph their engagement photos, as well as their wedding. Brooke and Ronnie, I wish nothing but the best in all you do, and we hope to see you guys real soon! Have fun in Cabo!!

The Engagement

The Wedding

Tiffany & Dennis

This was my first engagement session as a Floridian! It was really fun being able to check out a whole bunch of new locations to photograph their session! Everything was going great, but then the clouds came in, and the rain came down...hard. But, instead of postponing the session, Jenna thought it would be a fun idea to go buy an umbrella for the shoot and go for it. The couple like the idea, and we decided to go on with the session. It turned out great, and we had a lot of fun doing it!
I decided to play around with some textures while editing the photos. It was a fun way to break away from your typical/cliche engagement photos and have fun with it. I really liked how they turned out--the texture gave the photographs somewhat of a vintage feel.

Ann and Aaron Bridges

I met Ann through college--when she asked me If I would photograph her wedding, and I heard about the whole theme she had in mind for it, I got really excited! She had a very "Earthy/Fairytale" like concept in mind for her wedding. Because she had this theme going, I decided to photograph most of the wedding with a tilt-shift lens, which really plays with selective focus and depth of field, to really give the pictures a more fairytale like look.
The Wedding took place in their backyard, and they had it decorated amazingly for the concept in mind. It never felt as though this was a back yard wedding at all. I had so much fun with this and thank them so much for letting me be the photographer for their wedding!
